Origins
Our collections began with eyewear — objects that frame perspective and shape expression. Over time, this focus expanded into jewellery and accessories, guided by the same principles: durability, proportion, material depth, and ease of use.
Each new category has evolved naturally, without abandoning the clarity of what came before. Growth, for us, is considered rather than accelerated.
Craft & making
All Laibach & York pieces are made in Slovenia in small batches. Producing locally allows us to stay close to our process, maintain consistency, and avoid unnecessary excess.
Small-batch production supports careful workmanship and helps prevent overproduction. Each piece passes through deliberate stages of shaping, finishing, and assembly — not as a spectacle of craft, but as a commitment to quality you can feel.

Materials
We work primarily with premium cellulose acetate and sterling silver components selected for durability, comfort, and long-term use.
Cellulose acetate is a plant-based material derived from natural sources such as cotton and wood fibres. Its depth of colour and subtle variation make each piece distinct — no two patterns are identical.
Metal components are chosen for strength and skin compatibility. Our aim is to create pieces you can use often, without compromise.
